Finca La Esperanza, located in the Quezaltepec Mountain Range of El Bálsamo, El Salvador, is a family-owned farm operated by the Belismelis Family. The farm grows Bourbon coffee, known for its distinct flavor profile, and harvests the cherries by hand to ensure quality. Coffee processing involves a 36-40 hour fermentation followed by 3-4 days of patio drying and 7 days in a drum dryer to reach ideal humidity. The farm emphasizes social responsibility, with training programs and community healthcare, and is certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
