Nestled in the heart of Cauca, Popayán, located at 1,700 meters above sea level, offers the perfect environment for cultivating high-quality coffee. Surrounded by the Andes mountain range, the region boasts stable climatic conditions, enriched volcanic ash soil, and annual rainfall ranging from 1,700 to 2,000 mm, all of which enhance the sweet and citrusy flavor profiles of its beans.
They collaborate with approximately 75 local growers, building long-term relationships to promote quality coffee production. Through their program, farmers are rewarded with premiums up to 20% above market price for their commitment to quality. After hand-selecting the cherries, the beans are carefully de-pulped, washed, and sun-dried on raised beds, preserving their distinct flavors. Expect tasting notes of tangerine, caramel, cacao nibs, stone fruits, and molasses in every cup.
